Student Activities The association of Polymer Technologists (APT). An exclusive student body of the department conducts annually a national symposium, CRESMER, to bring polymer technologists together. The students from other institution are invited to participate in paper presentation, Design and technical quiz competitions. Eminent persons and experts from industry and research organizations are invited for special lectures to share their experience with the students. Such activities cultivate leadership qualities, professionalism and social responsibilities in the students. The APT also brings out a quarterly news magazine POLYLINKS which publishes the latest trends and developments in the field of polymers. The students of the department are encouraged to participate in paper presentation, Design and quiz competition organized by other institutions. Performance in such events has been highly appreciable and in fact they bag considerable number of prizes and honors every year. All the students are members of Indian Plastics Institute (IPI) and ISTE and they actively participate in the activities of IPI & ISTE. Academic Performance |
