LIBRARY AND INFORMATION CENTRE |
| |
The college library is a repository of books on various disciplines of Engineering, Management, Humanities, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and other interdisciplinary subjects.
It has a wide collection of about 35,500 volumes with 17,227 titles which includes 15876 reference books. The library subscribes to 100 national journals and 49 international journals (which includes 40 IEEE journals). More than 500 CD ROM is available for reference.
The library is housed in a spacious building and all its operations are computerized and automated. The library information could be accessed by the members |

through internet through a customer friendly system called student relationship management system' (eSRM), which could be reached through the official web site of the college http://www. crescentcollege.org.
It also subscribes to library networks like MALIBNET, INFLIBNET and INSDOC, which provides access to hundreds of technical journals in libraries of more than 24 institutions . CEC is a member of British council, United States Information Service, IIT Madras, SERC and Anna University.
The college library has a book bank catering to the needs of SC/ST students with 701 books of 558 titles. Students belonging to these communities are eligible to borrow and Reprographic facilities are available for the benefit of students and staff.
